			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Are you a good candidate for enticing a sponsor who will pay you to introduce its products or services to your clients and others? I have had some great sponsors over the years, including Staples® and Jones New York®. Sponsors can be lucrative sources of income, or at least offset some of your business costs.</p>
<p>There are three different kinds of sponsorship. You could have one or more sponsor in each of the three categories:</p>
<ul>
<li>Traditional—a corporate sponsor writes you a check for something like a speech or being promoted at an event.</li>
<li>Media sponsor—you give a workshop or a speech, and the local newspaper sponsors you and promotes the event, you promote them in your publicity and at the event. No money is exchanged.</li>
<li>In-kind sponsor—they give you something but not always a check. Let’s say you do a workshop at a local bank; the bank promotes the event, gives you a free venue for your workshop and provides refreshments or some staff support. Their efforts save you money and they benefit from the exposure and you bringing new people to their branch.</li>
</ul>
<p>Who are natural sponsors for you? Take some time to brainstorm ideas by identifying your ideal client, because you want a sponsor<strong> </strong>your clients will be interested in and one that is consistent with your brand.</p>
<p>Look for local sponsors with whom you already have a good relationship. Propose an in-kind sponsorship and do everything you can to make it successful. Invite potential sponsors to see you speak. Pay for their lunch and their transportation.</p>
<p>After you prove yourself and do a great job, you can ask for money for the next event. You can also document the results, go to a larger company and use this success to propose a paying sponsorship and generate revenue for your company.</p>
<p>Start now to research local sponsorship opportunities and begin to establish yourself as a valuable entity with which companies want to be associated.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was talking with a client today and she really wanted to talk about how to plan her day to get the best results, but thought perhaps it was too basic a conversation for our <a title="Busness Breakthrough Coaching" href="http://www.attractclientswithease.com/coaching.htm" target="_blank">business breakthrough coaching</a> time. I quickly pointed out that the more you improve your productivity, the more you can get done, and the more you can grow your revenue. Also, in this age of technology there is so much more for us to fit in a day.</p>
<p>Here are a few of my pointers to ensure your most productive day:</p>
<p>1. Plan today for tomorrow, plan at the end of the week for next week, plan at the end of the month for next month.</p>
<p>2. Use a paper or electronic to do list. On that list identify your top 3 priorities for the day that are a must to get done.</p>
<p>3. Get at least one of those top 3 priorities done before you do anything else with your day.</p>
<p>4. Do your best to get your other 2 top priorities done before lunch, when your brain is probably functioning at it’s best.</p>
<p>5. Always focus on revenue producing activities as early in the day as you can. For more on revenue producing activities- read my next blog post.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You have heard me say it a thousand times: it is so important to write to establish yourself as an expert, build your list and attract clients with ease. Let me be clear however. You do not want to write for the sake of writing your mission is to provide value. Tips, ideas, resources, or strategies that your clients and potential clients can apply immediately without ever picking up the phone to hire you.<span id="more-99"></span></p>
<p>As someone who does a lot of writing on a regular basis, I find there are certain words that I have to use the spell check over and over and I bet you have a similar experience. In that vein, here is a list of 25 often used, commonly misspelled words, of course spelled correctly.</p>
<p>I have put them in a column so that you can print out the list and post it on the very edge of the far left side of your monitor to review everyday to learn once and for all the words on this list that have delayed your creative process in the past. I recommend you highlight the ones that give you the most grief.</p>
